Project Description
This is a mobile application seeks to help the government in contact tracing. Malawi does not have the capacity to test all citizens of the country but using our mobile application that government can selectively prioritize people who needs to be tested through the various features of the application
The application also provides a robust information portal for citizens.
Movement Tracking & Contact tracing
This feature allows you to know if you are in proximity with a person with COVID-19 without knowing each other or sharing any details. The feature works using BLE Beacon and Geotracking technologies. Location data is kept locally and only the person has access to it.
Red Zone Detection
This feature allows placing markers on the map as red zones which are visible to the public and people can make crucial personal decisions such as enhancing protective measures when going to those areas or even cancelling.
Information Portal
Sections with ton of information (FAQs, Q and As, Mythbusters, Statistics) about COVID-19 and straight from World Health Organization. The information gets automatically updated whenever WHO updates the information.
Digital Self-Assessment
This feature checks for COVID-19 Symptoms in a person and runs an algorithm that gives you a recommendation. Each assessment collects a contact phone number and the assessments can be visualized on admin dashboard
